Switch Water Supplier Scotland – Do you want a 10% to 16% discount on your water charges, if your company has sites in Scotland and is billed by Business Stream it is highly likely you are paying on default tariff which will average between 10% to 16% more than you need to pay!

” Our research has shown that a vast majority of commercial businesses in Scotland are unaware of the discounts in the Scottish water market and indeed most companies are paying on a default charges, paying between 10% to 16% too much for their water and waste water services through their existing supplier Business Stream. We have proved this many times by going out to market for our clients and negotiating some really great discounts and being experts in the water industry we secure the very best value deals. A prime example of this happened today, we provide a water bill validation and on-going water audit service for a large Cinema company in the UK, we went to market and negotiated the best value water supply deal for the sites in Scotland on a 3 years contract which is the maximum we would recommend whereas the clients incumbent water supplier Business Stream have offered 2.5% les as their best discount and still less on a 5 year contract!

In all potential deals we have looked at without exception Business Stream have been the least best value, it appears the incumbent supplier in all instances cannot compete on best value so the question has to be asked why stay with them?

Our advise is simple don’t, if you do you will pay more. We have switched over £ 1 million worth of water supply contract to date with a further £ 1 million in the pipeline with discounts ranging from 10% to 16% with added value services built in. I am advising only 3 year contracts and no more – why? As the market fully opens up in England and we take on many business customers water supply contracts there will be more exciting opportunities we can exploit in the future, a 5 year contract simply gives no options to exploit changes and opportunities in 3 years time”
