Water Consultants H²0 Building Services advise companies to have a free water audit before the 31st March deadline.

£millions is overcharged by some UK water companies and in some instances unless a claim is submitted before 31st March of the current financial year the overcharges for that year are lost!. The potential loses range from a few thousands up to £ 500,000. Our data shows there is a 7 out of 10 chance of an overcharge and consequently a refund.

Water Consultants  H²O Building Services will provide a free water audit, all you have to do is provide copies of the last 6 months water and waste water bills and within a few days you will receive details of any potential water savings going forward and details of a potential refund.

Just last month alone refunds in excess of £ 150,000 were negotiated and approved.

If your company receives its water bills from

* Scottish Water Business Stream

* Aimera – (A Scottish Water supplier)

* United Utilities (North West)

* Severn Trent (Midlands)

* South Staffordshire Water.

* Northumbrian Water (North East)

The vast majority of the overcharging appears to derive from the charges for surface water, property drainage, highways drainage charges.

The worst offending water companies represent the highest number of overcharges in the UK, these charges are levied for the collection, treatment and disposal of rainwater and are based on either the commercial rateable value or site area.

Although you can check the charges against the site area measurement or indeed the rateable value against the charges levied H²O Building Services always recommend taking advise from a specialist water consultant, that way any claim for a refund will be 100% correct as any mistake could result in a back charge!
