A £19,000 overcharge by Severn Trent Water, identified by historical water audit experts H²0 Building Services.
Historical water audit experts H²O Building Services were commissioned by Barchester Healthcare to reduce water costs across the group of over 80 residential homes, providing a water bill validation service, incorporating a pro-active application of water cost 
reduction which includes historical water auditing which will identify any overcharges during the last years and identifying water cost reduction opportunities and reporting these to Barchester for action.
H²O have retained Barchester’s water project due to outstanding service and results achieved over the last 3 years plus. This latest overcharge was for collection and disposal of rainwater off site called site area banding, a desktop water audit identified the potential and an actual site survey confirmed the overcharge, a claim was submitted to Severn Trent Water resulting in a refund of £ 19,161 and an annual saving of £ 3,000 per year.
