A water company overcharge of £ 4,400 was identified by an historical water audit.
The water a
udit team at H²O Building Services identified an overcharge as part of the water bill validation and bureau service process, there was an error on the site’s rateable value to which the property and roads drainage charges are linked.
An application was sent to Business Stream, the Scottish Water provider and a 5 year refund cheque was received and also reduced charges going forwards of around £ 900 per year.
