Nottinghamshire Police receive substantial refund from Severn Trent Water.

H2O Building Services were awarded a water cost reduction project from Nottinghamshire Police, the water bills were audited  and expert auditors within H2O concluded that one of the forces sites were potentially being overcharged by Severn Trent Water. H2O carried out a site survey then submitted an application to reduce the surface water banding charge resulting in a reduction in water charges going forward by £10,000 per year and a refund of overcharges of £ 65,000.

Graham Mann Senior Partner from H2O says ” This is just another example of using our technical expertise and water industry knowledge to save Public Sector water costs, I am really delighted that H2O can make a positive financial contribution to Public Sector finances, we shall now approach other police forces and offer our services. We have said in previous statements given the opportunity we could save the Public Sector in excess of £ 150m on water and waste water costs”.
