Senior Water Consultant at H²0 Building Services launches Water Expert Group on Linked in.

Senior Water Consultant Graham Mann who leads up a successful water cost reduction consultancy firm H²O Building Services with its head office based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire has been in the business over 25 years gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise now feels it is time to launch and create a Water Expert Group on the fastest growing global business network designed for the business community. The overall aim of the site is to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally and it works brilliantly.

Graham Mann says ” There does not appear to be any single place where businesses in the UK or overseas can go for information or advice on reducing water and waste water costs, for years our industry seems to be under the radar of a great many companies in the UK and with gas and power costs in most cases far out stripping water and waste water costs this is understandable. There are thousands of energy brokers, consultants, advisors, procurement and overall cost reduction advisors but only a very small hand full of water experts focusing on water efficiency, this has been bourn out time and time again when we have secured projects from other water consultancy firms where the seemingly very basic savings and refund opportunities have been missed and more complex areas of potential savings opportunities not even examined as the true skill sets within the other water consultancy firms do not exist.

I want to raise the profile of the water industry as businesses are apparently really unaware of the savings and refunds that can be achieved with very little effort in some cases. Take for example the Scottish Water market in terms of percentages of business in Scotland, very few are aware that by simply switching water supplier from the incumbent water supplier Business Stream a business dependent on the water profile and charges could save between 10% and 16%. I have just brokered a deal for a large residential care home company saving £ 169,000 over 3 1/2 years with a payback of 2 weeks. Another client with is a large national retailer is saving £ 55,000 over 3 1/2 years and I waved the fee!.
