SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS AND REFUNDS ON WATER AND WASTE WATER CHARGES

H²O Building Services the water consultants already have a track record for producing water savings and refunds within the Prison Service, having successfully completed water leak detection  and water leak repair at HMP Elmley they have recently been commissioned to carry out water cost reduction surveys to the “Sheppey Cluster” Elmley, Stamford Hill and Swaleside, early indications are there is a six figure refund to come back due to incorrect billing by “Southern Water” and a six figure saving.

 Graham Mann Senior Partner at H²O says “very substantial savings can be made, with pay backs measured in a few months, where we identify refunds the cash that comes back will in most cases pay for any works required to achieve on-going future savings , the estimated total spend across the Prison Service is some £58m, we should certainly be able to achieve a £12m saving in the first year”.

Upon completion of the site survey, a report is compiled indicating specific areas of savings, action required to achieve savings, a specification of works, cost and pay-back, until now water and waste water costs have been largely ignored, the results are now speaking for themselves.
