Thames Water lose water and sewerage services supply to Albion Water

Albion Water will take over the water and sewerage services from Thames Water to 370 residential properties in Rissington, Gloucestershire, customers will benefit from a 5% discount on water and sewerage services.
The regulator OFWAT is satisfied that Albion Water will provide customers an equivalent level of service to Thames Water.
Albion Water will provide potable water, non-potable “green” water and sewerage treatment in addition they will provide a range of ancillary environmental services.
To qualify for what is known as “varying the appointment” which allows OFWAT to replace a water company as an appointed water and waste water supplier customers in the area must use 50 million litres of water per year and 250 million litres in Wales.
