Wakefield Water Consultants Welcome New Employee
This month, Wakefield based water consultants , H20 Building Services, have appointed Carl Wilkinson as Senior Project Manager.
Carl started his career 21 years ago at Yorkshire Water through their youth training scheme. Working in a variety of roles he forged a career in finance and investment planning, responsible for submitting reports to industry regulator Offwat. He joins H2O looking for a new challenge in the next stage of his career.
H2O Building Services specialise in detecting water leaks at commercial properties, water leak repairs and claim refunds on behalf of clients for any over charges from the water companies. Carl will be responsible for managing a database of over 30 clients across public sector and private businesses. Overseeing client projects, Carl will liaise with contractors and utility companies to ensure tasks are delivered within time-scales and to the highest standard.
In his spare time, Carl is passionate about sport, including supporting Bradford City football club. He enjoys running and is currently training for his next half marathon early next year.
Carl comments, “I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead at H2O. It’s interesting to be on the other side of the industry after so long. The company ethos of saving and reclaiming money owed from utility companies is something I’m passionate about and I hope to bring in some great results for our clients.”
Graham Mann, MD at H2O Building Services adds, “Carl joins H2O at an exciting time, the business is expanding and with his help we hope to take on bigger projects and secure even bigger refunds for our clients. Many businesses just don’t realise that their money can literally be going down the drain. Carl joins our team here to help us target more businesses who are losing out to a problem that can be fixed fairly easily.”
