Water Companies continue to overcharge UK companies.

This year we have seen many instances of blatant water company overcharging, many UK companies are unaware of overcharges and indeed when water companies back charge in most instances UK companies pay up.

Enlisting the services of expert water consultants is key to reducing or indeed cancelling back charges, for example: –

H20 Building Services water consultants  was employed  by a large international parcel company, they had received a back charge on two sites within the North West supplied by United Utilities, the back charges amounted to £ 70,000, the water company claiming it had not billed the customer enough, H20 expert consultants carried out a water audit and determined that the water company United Utilities should not have backdated as far back as they had resulting in a cancelled back charge saving the client £ 70,000. Had the client not commissioned H20 Building Services it is highly likely the back charge would have been paid by the client.

Within the same week H20 Building Services carried out a water audit for a large Leisure Company 2 sites within the Bristol and Wessex Water area were identified as being overcharged and refunds of £ 30,000 were identified, correspondence was sent to the water company for refunds of overcharges.

A water audit by expert water consultants  often produces substantial financial rewards, the largest refund ever produced by H20 was for Manchester Metropolitan University £ 500,000, there are millions of unclaimed overcharges waiting to be claimed from water companies.
