Water cost reduction partnership between H²0 Building Services and Pizza Hut produces substantial water savings.

Pizza Hut chose H²O Building Services as the water cost reduction consultants to provide a national water bill validation and bureau service, water bill auditing which involves checking historical charges to identify potential water company overcharges.

Within the last 12 months H²O have identified and successfully claimed refunds in excess of £ 140,000.

With the water database fully constructed H²O are working in close partnership with Pizza Hut to  identify high water users on the estate of some 400 plus sites and H²O surveyors have carried out on-site investigations to identify the reasons for the high water consumption. Various water losses have been identified from water leaks on underground water supply pipes between the water meter and the point of entry, we also identified faulty water softners which were discharging continually to drain.

The project involves water bill validation with consumption benchmarking, site surveys and reporting through to engineering and consultancy solutions, driving down water and waste water costs and maintaining water savings.

With savings and refunds in excess of £ 170,000 to date the water cost reduction partnership exceeded all expectations.
