We have received a water bill dated 14th May where the water consumption had increased substantially. We telephoned site to make sure there have not been any issues i.e. broken urinal controls etc. which would equates for the increase, we were told there were no issues on site.

The average usage at this site is around 450m3 per quarter with an ADU (average dailty use) of 5m3. The lastest bill the consumption is 1,202m3 with an ADU of 12.27m3. This equates to an increase of 7.27m3 per day or £ 11.56 per day over spend x 365 = £ 4,219. This figure is for water only as you are seperatly charged for trade effluent on another account which is charged on measured sewerage basis also at 50p per m3 therefore the increase on this bill would be around

£ 1,326 per annum, together £ 5,545 overspend.
